Blood Donation at The Pakubuwono Menteng

On Monday, July 22, 2024, The Pakubuwono Menteng (TPM) held its first-ever Blood Donation Day, marking a significant milestone in the property’s commitment to community service. This inaugural event, organized in partnership with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), was a remarkable demonstration of TPM’s dedication to supporting its residents, domestic staff, and employees.

From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the atmosphere at TPM was filled with a sense of purpose and community spirit. Residents, domestic staff, and Building Management (BM) employees came together to participate in this noble cause. The event was more than just a chance to donate blood; it was a testament to TPM’s commitment to positively impacting the community.

The collaboration with PMI ensured that the blood donation process was smooth and efficient. PMI’s experienced team handled the event professionally, providing all the necessary support and ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for the donors.

During the event, a total of 30 bags of blood were collected from the participants. Each donation represents a vital resource for patients in need of blood for medical treatments and emergencies. The success of this event highlights the generosity and compassion of the TPM community.

This Blood Donation Day is not a one-time event but the beginning of a new tradition at TPM. The management plans to make this an annual event, reinforcing TPM’s role in fostering community well-being and social responsibility. By organizing regular blood donation drives, TPM aims to support local health services and contribute to the greater good.

The positive response from the participants and the successful collection of blood bags are clear indicators of the community’s willingness to support such important causes. The event has set a high standard for future initiatives and has shown the potential for TPM to continue making a significant impact.

Looking ahead, The Pakubuwono Menteng is excited to continue its commitment to community service. The Blood Donation Day has not only provided essential support to those in need but also strengthened the sense of community among residents, staff, and employees.
