TRUMPET VINE - THUNBERGIA GRANDIFLORA
The genus Thunbergia contains around 100 species, from shrubs to extremely
ornamental vines. T. grandiflora is perhaps the best known of the
latter, a very fast-growing climber with large, slightly rough heart-shaped
leaves and long, hanging clusters of either mauve-blue or white trumpet-shaped
flowers. Thunbergia Grandiflora can be found near by the barbeque
area and at the putting green bridge.
DRIVERS!
We would like to remind you that residents are responsible for the
behavior and conduct of their drivers. Drivers must obey by the House
Rules and Regulations ( paragraph 10.4.6) at all times. Lately some
drivers have become unruly and are creating disturbances for residents
and staff alike.
Please note that if this behavior continues, the Building Management
will start banning the respective drivers from the underground parking
areas and “The Pakubuwono Residence” complex.
Please convey this message to your drivers.
Thank you for your adherence and understanding.
REMINDER
TO RESIDENTS
-
Complete
and thorough dust mopping, using only an untreated dust mop (dont
use aerosol treatments such as Pledge or Endust, etc). Dust mop
several times a day to remove surface dust, dirt and grime from
foot traffic.
-
Damp
mopping should take place regularly with water to remove soil, and
dirt which causes discoloration and abrasion. Damp moping should
be done weekly, more often in areas with
high traffic or areas affected by weather.
-
Chemicals,
detergents, strippers, etc. must not be used. Most of the commercial
cleaning solutions including “neutral” cleaners contain varying
amounts of alkali. Alkali dulls polished stone.
-
High
speed floor machines must never be used on the floor. They create
unnecessary heat and friction. Low speed machines may be used.
-
In
the event of a flood, large spills, or the need to “flood rinse”
to remove sand salts, a wet vacuum whose head is a flexible, pliable
rubber squeegee should be used to avoid unnecessary marring or scratching
of the surface.
