Dear Residents,

It may seem that the merry making and holiday season is behind us and things have quieted down a bit as we enter the month of February. But not for long… romance is in the air…and, for those who celebrate Valentine's Day on February 14th, don't forget to make a date at Paprika, the perfect setting to dine and wine with your loved one. And if you are looking for that special gift, visit our Citihome Collection where you will find unique and lovely gift items. Happy Valentine's!

At this time, on behalf of my team, I would also like to greet our friends who celebrate Chinese New Year 2007 on February 18th. Gong Xi Fa Cai. Happiness, Health, Good Luck and Prosperity! It is a time of family reunions, honoring past and present generations, and carrying out important centuries' old traditions such as 'spring cleaning', dragon dances, fireworks and lanterns. We wish you a wonderful celebration with your families and may you all have a Prosperous Year. Try with your family our special Chinese Promotional Menu at Paprika. Enjoy the festivities!

Inside The Pakubuwono, we have recently opened a Games Room, equipped with 8 computers with the latest games to entertain your children, such as Counter Strike Shade, CT Special Force and more. Come and bring your kids along for exciting video games or perhaps, you may want to try the games yourself! The Games Room is located at the Mezzanine level of the Sandalwood Tower. Have fun!

You may have also noticed that construction has started for the new 'home' for our Citihome Collection at the northern portion of our complex, along Jalan Ophir. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this brief construction period. We expect the works to be completed in early April. The new showroom will certainly be quite exceptional and a fantastic place to start looking for home accessories, furnishings and many more. Watch out for the opening!

On another note, we'd like to also remind our residents that insurance of household contents, such as personal items, electronic equipment, electric appliances, light fixtures, partitions, glass panels, furniture and other furnishings remains your responsibility. If you wish to take out insurance, we will be pleased to refer you to reliable companies or you may, of course, choose your own insurer.

The frequent rains have helped make our gardens lusher than ever. Do take time to walk along our jogging path and inside gardens, and you'll find some beautiful blooms of the blue colored Climbing Ivy and 2 species of Heleconia and many bushes of Jasmin. You have heard of the saying “take time to smell the roses”? Well, here at The Pakubuwono Residence, there are many sights and smells that please the senses and we continue to work hard to make sure that you'll find living in your new home always a pleasurable and delightful experience.

Yours sincerely,

Detlef Skrobanek
General Manager
