GM's Letter

Dear Residents,

It was wonderful to see many of you join us in our first Residents' Gathering a couple of weeks ago. Personally, it was a great opportunity for me and our team here at The Pakubuwono Residence to get better acquainted with both old and new residents and their families. I was particularly pleased to see that the children had so much fun with our quiz and games and I hope that many of you went home glad to have met and made new friends!

2006 has been quite an eventful year. We feel that after only opening its doors at the beginning of this year, The Pakubuwono Residence has earned its rightful place as the city's top residential address and the most sought after residence!

And so we continue to add more facilities designed to give you more convenience and programs for your enjoyment. Accessing the internet is now easy from several CBN 'hotspots' in our complex. There's also a new internet service provider, Speedy, now available without the need of adding a telephone line. Digital 1 provides 24 hours' service to ensure that you get the best value in TV entertainment. Our Club's team also keeps on planning new activities and classes to make it more fun and attractive for our fitness enthusiasts. Join us in our new Body Pumping class and have fun while getting fit and ready for the coming holiday season! Meet up with your neighbors, walk, run or jog around the complex and enjoy the greenery that's growing even more lush over time.
“Tis the season to be jolly…” As the holiday season is coming up soon, many of you may be planning family gatherings, office parties or simply, celebrating the year end with friends. Don't forget to plan your parties close to your home. The function room at the Sandalwood Tower is a perfect venue for your parties; as well as the Verandahs, Café and Library and Barbeque area. Check with the Tenant Relations Officer for availability and booking information and let us help you plan the festivities your guests will relish.

Reflecting on the year's past, we are very grateful that you have put your trust in us and our service. On behalf of my team, I would like to extend our heartfelt 'Thank You” for all your support and cooperation in our endeavours to make The Pakubuwono Residence your “Home….Best Place to Be.”

To our friends celebrating this festive season,

May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope;
The spirit of Christmas which is peace;
The heart of Christmas which is love.
To all, Happy Holidays!

1. Laundry hanging in the balcony

As shown in the picture below, we find that some residents still use the balcony to hang their laundry.

Please be reminded that hanging and drying of laundry in the balcony area is not permitted. We seek your cooperation in strictly observing this regulation and to ensure that your household staff has been instructed accordingly.

2. Clothesline / Laundry Hanger
A suggestion as to where to hang your clothesline in the unit? Of course, you would not want your laundry hanging from the balcony or placed on a rack in the balcony area for all to see! Hanging of laundry in the balcony area, as you know, is not permitted.
This practice is not only unsightly but spoils the amenity of our residence. For those who do not have a clothes dryer, check out this new gadget available

at Citihome Collection a perfect device to hang your laundry, convenient to use and a real space saver. It is easy to install in the wet kitchen area, inside your unit. Do call and put it your order now at Citihome Collection at (021) 7278 3918 or 2750 5015.

3. After Swimming
On several occasions, children in wet clothes were seen walking into the lobbies and using the lift after swimming. Please ask your children to use the changing rooms provided in the swimming pool area so that they can change into dry clothes before returning to their respective towers.

4. CBN Prepaid Card
The Pakubuwono Residence is covered with a CBN Hotspot at the main Swimming Pool, Sunset Deck, Verandah and Café & Library. Although you are not a CBN subscriber, you may use a CBN Prepaid Card, available at our Business Center (located at the Mezzanine level, Sandalwood Tower), to access the internet from these 'hotspots'.

5. Digital One
For your convenience, DITIGAL1 provides 24 hours' Customer Service, including billing and technical information and any other concerns related to their services. Simply contact (021) 55 777 088 or email to support@digital1.tv
